Zie hier haar wedstrijdverslag.
World Cup #4 Mont Sainte Anne, Canada.
I always look forward to go to Mont Sainte Anne, It’s a beautiful place and the races are always good up there.. This weekend it was a triple event again with Downhill, 4-cross and cross-country, in one weekend. I decided not to compete in the Downhill here. The schedule to do both here was just to much. They were running the Downhill on Saturday afternoon and right after that the 4-cross.
The 4-cross course was rough. The top section was really fast and in the bottom half there were some tight corners and jumps. Qualifying went well, I had a clear run and qualified 2nd behind Tara Llanes. My semi-final went perfect and I went trough to the finals.
When I was standing in the gate I felt really confided and I was hungry for that first place. My gate was good but Tara and me were bumping in to each other and I was not able to get all my pedals in. Just before the first corner Katrina Miller came in from the out side and was able to go into the first corner first, before Tara and me. It was good racing again. After I finished I had mixed feelings about my 3rd place, it’s good but I want more then 3rd.
Tomorrow we will travel to Brazil were we have the 5th World Cup this season. I will keep you updated!!
Greetings,
Anneke Beerten
